The Government has thus shown its participation by providing many online courses to extend its support to the citizens.

IIMB (Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore)

IIMB is a quite recent organization established in 2017. Although it is new, it has delivered more than 20 free online courses on its coordinator SWAYAM. The task of IIMB is to analyze and receive MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) requests as National Coordinator. These requests are presented only by universities and institutions interested in educating their courses on SWAYAM in Management.

The main objective of NITTTR (Chandigarh) is to equip the students with expertise in the field of engineering. It is an MHRD institute and teaches especially the students in the southern region. It also encourages engineering in other disciplines and provides education research.

NITTTR extends its support to technical institutions (Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges), community, and industry by offering free consultancy and extension services. NITTTR Chennai supports SWAYAMs teacher training program with technical training courses.

NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training)

NCERT functions on a large scale in providing for education by conducting, coordinating, and promoting research in fields connected to school education, supplementary materials, newsletters, preparation of model textbooks and publishing them, journals, and developing institutional multimedia skills and digital materials.

Our Government has started the project as a joint venture with state educational departments, universities, and other educational institutions.
Furthermore, it provides educational training to international developing countries by connecting and collaborating with them.

This program is a part of the Government Digital India plan to inculcate digitalization in India to make it digitally smart. These classes are offered in English and Hindi, and there are no mandatory requirements.

This e-PG Pathshala program greatly contributes to India free online learning tools library. To access these courses, students make use of internet-enabled mobiles. The students are granted a certificate from the Indian Government upon completion of the course.

Diksha

The Indian Government has introduced this new way to provide free online education to Indian students. The Diksha initiative by the Government has a variety of methods for digital literacy, financial literacy, and employment skills.
