They should also use a filtering process known as the Lincoln County Process before beginning the whiskey aging process.
The Rye Whiskey
The Rye whiskey is manufactured in America. It has 51 % of rye (at least). Other things used are barley and corn. It has the same distillation process as Bourbon whiskey. The rye that has been aged for a minimum of two years and remains unblended is known as "straight rye whiskey". it has a slightly spicy flavor, unlike the smooth and sweet bourbon.
The Blended Whiskey
As the name suggests, blended whiskey is an amalgamation of various whiskey. It contains different types of colors, grains, and flavors. This whiskey is mostly used for cocktails, but the spirit can be obtained at a lower price.
The Single Malt Whisky
The single malt whisky should be ideally made from a single batch of scotch t a single distillery. Before bottling it, it should be aged for three years in an oak barrel. The reason why it is called "single malt" is that its main ingredient is barley.
However, the U.S. distilleries do not follow this. In America, single-use rye and not barley.
The White Whiskey
The white whiskey is also known as moonshine. It is an unaged whiskey. So clearly does not find itself in the oak barrel where it could have acquired flavors and spices. The Colonists started manufacturing whiskey to avoid paying for the imported British brandy.
